Job Introduction

We are seeking a proactive person to help supervise our maintenance team. Your day to day duties may include; to manage a team of engineers, to assist with the improvement of station facilities provided for passengers and staff, whilst ensuring all safety legislation is adhered too. 

 You will manage a fleet of vehicles in line with Company Standards and those dictated by the lease company. You will be responsible for analysing and compiling periodic reports to allow monitor of fault response performance and SQR deadlines periodically and as requested by the maintenance manager.

You will assist in reducing company costs by carrying out repairs to minor faults as and when they occur and also reducing call out and contractor fees and ensuring the highest standards are consistently delivered to our passengers and staff.

The Ideal Candidate

You must be able to demonstrate the following in your application:

  • Managing a team (in this role you will be managing a team of 18 mobile maintenance operatives)
  • Financial spend management
  • Fleet vehicle management 
  • Safety and quality checking experience 
  • Networking, Relationship building and Stakeholder engagement skills (in this role you will complete site visits in partnership with Network Rail)

 Requirements

 Full UK driving licence (must be over 21)

  • Experience in fault management 
  • Experience of Managing a team
  • Experience in corrective maintenance repairs
  • A good level of IT skills
